Iain Henry

Iain has worked in insurance for nearly 25 years, 21 of them with Central. He started with the company as an Account Handler, developing his career to the point where he led the Management Buyout of the company in 2008 when he was appointed Managing Director. As well as continuing to look after a portfolio of clients, Iain is responsible for the overall management of the business.
He is a member of The Chartered Insurance Institute and is Cert CII qualified.
David Binnie

David’s insurance career commenced in 1984 as a Section Clerk with Commercial Union, now the Aviva brand. He joined Central Insurance in 1997 from International Brokers Willis where he held the position of Divisional Director. David was appointed a director of Central in October 2006 and in addition to managing and developing his client portfolio, he has responsibility for the Company’s client and insurer finance and overall responsibility for HR
He is a member of The Chartered Insurance Institute and is Cert CII qualified.
Harry Burness

Harry was the Director responsible for the claims unit at Collins Halden & Burnett when his firm was acquired by Central Insurance in April 2011. Harry assumed the role of Claims Director at Central and is a Chartered Loss Adjuster/ Claims Specialist, having worked with Chartered Loss Adjusters GAB Robins McTear for some 20 years before joining Collin Halden in 2000.
Harry was awarded his ACII Diploma in 1987 and became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters in 1997. He is also a FUEDI European Loss Adjusting Expert.
Ian Fraser

Ian commenced his insurance career with Norwich Union in 1968, moving into Insurance Broking in 1978 and joined Central as an Account Executive in 1985. He was appointed a director in 1997 and is primarily responsible for the company’s Compliance.
Ian was awarded his ACII Diploma in 1977 and is a Chartered Insurance Broker
Neil Kerr

Neil joined Central Insurance in 2006 from national brokers Heath Lambert where he held the position of Executive Director following sale of his own brokerage to them in 1998. He was appointed a director of Central in October 2006. As well as looking after his own portfolio of clients Neil has overall Sales responsibility.
Neil is a member of The Chartered Insurance Institute and holds the Diploma in Insurance, Dip CII.
Steven Thomson

Steve joined Central Insurance in 1997 as an Account Handler, having left General Accident where he was a Commercial Underwriter. He was appointed a director of the company in January 2008 on completion of the management buyout. His prime responsibilities encompass the servicing of a client portfolio and he also has overall responsibility for the company’s IT.
Chris Tosh

Chris was recruited by Royal Insurance (now RSA) as a management trainee in 1985 and joined Central from there in 2003 as Commercial Schemes Account Manager. Chris became a director of the company in January 2009 and retains responsibility for the management and technical underwriting of our Commercial Schemes facilities. In addition, he continues to look after a client portfolio as well as developing appropriate new business.
Chris was awarded his ACII Diploma in 1990 and is a Chartered Insurance Broker.
Graeme Yule

Graeme was Managing Director of local Aberdeen Broker, Collins Halden & Burnett when the firm was acquired by Central Insurance in April 2011. Graeme joined the Central board at that time and he maintains responsibility for his client portfolio and development of new business opportunities.
Graeme was awarded his ACII diploma in 1979 and is a Chartered Insurance Broker
